The cabin was a great place with plenty to do!The property manager was amazing and I really loved her help.

Property had several problems. 1) A very real Safety concern with the car driveway as the fill for the driveway has washed away and is impossible to drive on because of the steep incline and depressed height well below the roadway. 2) Cabin Thermostat flashed an error message constantly. 3) No instructions on how to operate the internet which was not working on our arrival. 4) No instructions how to operate the TV's which also did not work on our arrival. 5) Very steep spiral stairs from 1st floor to lower level and very hard to travel for us as seniors. (both bedrooms are on the lower level) Could have used the outside stairs if the lock on the lower level outside door worked. (it did not) 6) Floors on the lower level are in bad shape and missing coverings in areas. Some uneven floor areas are tripping hazards.

The Cabin was beautiful, clean, had everything we wife and I were here celebrating our 52 Anniversary...This was our 2nd stay with Acorn Ridge Cabin Rentals and we certainly would recommend staying with them..(we hope to be back)..The staff was amazing..Amy ,we appreciate all your help!

Great cabin, far enough away, but close enough to get where you want to see. Clean, and comfortable. We have stayed there twice. and will definitely stay again.

We went to celebrate our 25th anniversary and it could not have been more perfect! We had a visit from a bear that hung out below the deck for a while. The hot tub was so relaxing. The cabin was so clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked and absolutely beautiful. I would definitely stay again!

We had a nice time. The original pictures i saw were outdated so the cabin looked a little different. Wasn't a fan of the location or the wifi not working but if you plan to just relax and stay in, its perfect.

Our family of 6 enjoyed our first visit to the Tennessee mountains in this cute cabin. It was perfect for a weekend getaway. Just a short drive from all the tourist attractions but set back in the mountains away from the noise, lights, & traffic. The spiral staircase was a favorite. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fully stocked kitchen.

The cabin was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked! It was a bit far from town but it was very nice! The bed was also very comfortable!

The cabin was beautiful and clean with the right amount of necessities, towels, utensils etc. I would have liked a couple more blankets because it was cold in the bedrooms and there was only one throw in the whole house. I loved the decor- very homey. I did not like the big bees hanging out around the porch and back balcony. They limited the time I could spend out there and even one got in the cabin even though I was very careful.

We love staying at this cabin. It’s far enough away from everything that we could relax after a day of hiking. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed to cook meals.

Have about everything you need in the rental so that was good. The gas grill was a bit off with 2 areas of the grill being a bit hard to start but that's really minor. Overall good stay. The cabin is a bit further from town and Smoky mountain ~30 minutes but not a huge problem if you don't mind driving a bit.

Enjoyed staying in the cabin. Quiet and relaxing location. Great view on the hillside. Nice balcony with a relaxing hot tub. Bedrooms were as advertised. Steep spiral stairway, but does have access beside the cabin to the lower level. Would definitely rent again.

Cabin was easy to find and in a very peaceful location. The cabin was good condition, and represented accurately on the website. Plenty of nice clean towels and cooking utensils were found. The deck was very nice, the hot tub was very clean and a great way to end a long day.

Love this cabin and area. The view is amazing! It's nice to come back after a busy day to peace and quiet.

I'm so thankful this property was available for a quick getaway weekend. The views are beautiful and the house was perfect for us. It was spacious, clean, had many beautiful upgrades, and in a quiet location. We look forward to staying here again!

The lighting entering the cabin at night was very poor especially given that we saw bears during the weekend. Otherwise it was a great cabin. I would go again.

It was so relaxing to be able to come here from all the busy things life throws at us. We were able to bring our fur babies and had amazing walks with great views. Even saw a momma bear and her three cubs one night as well while coming back to the cabin from in town. The property was clean and accommodating to all our needs and close to everything in town. I will definitely be booking here again and recommend this to anyone wanting to bring their fur babies. They even had a little fenced in section in the yard for our fur babies to run around that helped everyone feel safe and secure while still getting their business done! Highly recommend!!

The property had beautiful views and was in a good location between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Thehouse was clean and well maintained and had plenty of room for my family of four. The hot tub was nice to relax in after a long day of camping of riding mountain coasters.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mountain Escape Chalet. It had all of the amenities we needed. The location is great, close to town, yet far enough to allow us to feel secluded. Also close to the national park which is where we
Spent a lot of our time. Although we saw more bears near the cabin. We loved that it was a dead end road so not a lot of traffic when walking our dog. If we make it back to the Smokey mountains, we will stay here again. I would recommend it to anyone.

We were in the area for a family wedding - this cottage was perfect - and the hot tub and view were an added plus.

Saw more bears this trip (June 23) than any of our other trips to the Smokie, but none visited us at the house.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We loved the view and the comfortable furniture on the deck. The two master suites worked out great for us as it was just my brother and I. The house was clean and fresh.

We have been to the Gatlinburg many times and have stayed in cabins throughout the area, but this has been by far the best we’ve stayed at. I stared at the mountain across the valley every sunrise and sunset. Gorgeous view! We enjoyed the fireplace on the cool nights and the hot tub on the deck with the view of the mountains. The bedrooms are big and the beds are comfortable. Can’t wait to go back. A plus, we saw a black bear on the road in front of the cabin. First one I’ve seen.

This trip to Gatlinburg was very special for us. We were able to spend the week with my older kid, parents and younger children. The house was very secluded and had an amazing view of the mountains. We spent countless hours in the hot tub on the back deck watching the sunset. The kids were able to play foosball upstairs and our dog was able to maintain her activity by using the fenced in yard in the back. The hosts were great and easy to communicate with. It was such an amazing trip, my oldest son has already inquired about renting the cabin for an upcoming trip with his girlfriend. 5 stars for the property owners and the property. We will definitely stay here again.

Our stay at the Mountain Escape Chalet was perfect! The views were amazing! We were able to enjoy true nature with being only a few short minutes to Ober for skiing or downtown Gatlinburg for dining and shopping. We’ll definitely be back to this cabin!

We stay in the cabin for a birthday celebration, the cabin was clean and organize, the views are breathtaking on autumn we love our stay even when I got superscare with the roads :), but that is the purpose of the location of this cabin, I will reconsider going back there and the fact was pet friendly make our trip better.

We were very impressed with this cabin! When we first walked in we noticed how nice and clean it was. There were also no bugs inside at all during our whole stay which I was nervous about because I saw other reviews about other cabins that had that issue. Six of us stayed here (five adults and one child) and there was more than enough room. Both master bedrooms are on either side of the cabin so this layout worked perfect for us. My only complaint is the location. If you're not scared of narrow winding roads (and some steep ones) then you have nothing to worry about, but unfortunately I was very scared going up and down the mountain to get there (mainly just the last couple min. up to the cabin). My husband drove the whole time because I just couldn't do it. Other than that I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Our vacation was AMAZING at Mountain Escape Chalet! The views were breathtaking! The place was exceptionally clean and modern as well as super cozy! We even had a few wildlife visitors to include bears every morning! The first time driving up to the cabin was a bit stressful I would suggest getting there during the day. Once you drive a few times it's not to bad.

We had a wonderful week at the Mountain Escape Chalet! We saw bear numerous times, enjoyed the hot tub a lot after hiking days, and had a wonderful time playing games as a family on the deck! It is covered, so even on rainy days we could hang out outside. The kitchen had everything we needed and everything was in working order! We also liked that it is on a dead end road, so no traffic. Loved the view! Highly recommend!

This is the perfect place for anyone needing a getaway. We enjoyed the sunrise and full moon view over the mountains from the hot tub. There was something for everyone in the downtown area, and not enough time to do it all. This place is a short drive away from hiking trails with a beautiful waterfall. Even getting rained in, we were able to enjoy the hot tub and being outside on the covered deck. The beds were very comfortable, and we even saw a bear as we were driving down the mountain.

The chalet was a great place to come back to and unwind after a fun day in Gatlinburg. The views were beautiful and the hot tub was a nice touch.

The cabin was so perfect for our trip to celebrate my husbands birthday! We were so happy with the location and the set up of the cabin. The hot tub was one of the best parts! We will definitely be back!

My husband, two boys (9 and 11), and our dog (and me, of course!) stayed in this house for a week in early March and it was perfect for us! The house was just as it was described, with plenty both indoor and outdoor space for us. The hot tub featured heavily in our stay--we took morning and evening soaks daily (a great way to reconnect with kids because there are no distractions!).
The house is a perfect distance to Gatlinburg and PF--it is easy enough to get to those places, but perfectly secluded, too!
If our plans ever took us back to Gatlinburg, we would rent this home again in a second!

Enjoyed our stay, Chalet was roomy and decorated modern. Only downside was no basement and pool table. The Mountain View’s from the hot tub more than made up for that

We really enjoyed our stat at Mountain Escape. We were thrilled to be able to bring our dog, Nash. We had an issue with the hot water and even on New Years day someone came out and fixed it right away. Property description was on point. The chalet was very clean except for one closet that had a strange odor that we reported. We had a great time riding through the park, visiting Anakeesta and The Sky Bridge, tasting moonshine and eating at our favorite places such as Cherokee Grill and The Park Grill. Look forward to returning to this chalet in the future.

The drive up the mountain side is a little nerve-racking for people not used to steep inclines but you just need to go extremely slow. What a great place! Plenty of space for a family of 4-6 plus doggos! My 2 kids LOVED the loft area and spent almost all their time up there. I loved sitting on the deck- such a wonderful, quiet space- rain or shine! The rental was clean and well maintained. The drive to get to the home is a bit of a nail biter, but you get used to after a couple trips. My only complaint is the bathrooms could use more lighting and another couple hooks for bath towels.

This was our first family trip ever and it was absolutely perfect. This is a great location as it’s very private and serene. Everything was clean, neat, and beautiful. This place literally had every amenity you could need. We enjoyed the hot tub the most. The fact that it was pet friendly was a double bonus! We were warmed by the little note left welcoming us to the chalet, it solidified that we were in the right place! Thank you, we would vacation here again next year in a heartbeat!

We loved this adorable cabin! There were 3 of us celebrating our 50th birthdays and 40 years of friendship! It was a great girls' getaway! We especially loved the back porch! We would sit on the outdoor couch every morning and enjoy the peacefulness. After a day of adventure in either Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, or the park, we would again find ourselves out on the porch enjoying a glass of wine. The cabin was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for the little bit of cooking we did. The living room had cozy seating and extra blankets. The cabin is surrounded by trees and secluded. The bunkbeds in the loft area would be best suited for children or teenagers. We were going to use it for our third person, but since we have been friends since we were 10, 2 of us shared one king bed and the other had a king to herself. It worked out great. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful view from the moment you walk in! Big comfy beds and huge bathrooms! High end finishes throughout! Everyone could stretch out and relax. The hot tub was wonderful! Located halfway between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We all had a great time!!!

Loved the view and the chalet. The bed was the most comfortable thing I have slept on. Just needs more dresser space for clothes in the one bedroom.

The house was very nice, modern and updated. The hotub on the patio was great! We loved the foosball upstairs in the loft where our sons slept. The view from the balcony/patio was breathtaking. The owners communicated well in answering questions before we arrived and during our stay via email. They were prompt. The only drawback to this particular place was the long, difficult drive nearly 3 miles up the mountain to get there. The road was rather narrow and was basically just enough space for two cars. There was two ways to get there with the Gatlinburg bypass route having more blind turns to navigate during the drive up the mountain. If you are scared of cliffs/mountains with no edges when driving it may be difficult for you to stay here. I was able to handle it but my wife on the other hand could not look and had to stay with her face covered up driving both up and down the mountain. It’s about a 3 mile drive upward and takes nearly 15 minutes to get to the top. I would suggest trying to take yhe Wiley Oak Drive route which you can enter at the Gatlinburg welcome center. This route has less blind turns and is slightly easier to manage especially in the dark. Otherwise, it is very well located just between Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge right off of the main road (Parkway) where all of your attractions will be.

My wife and a couple of our friends really enjoyed this cabin. The cabin was nice and open and we really like how we still had our own separate space. It’s a great place to relax and the accommodations were great. Acorn was nice enough to have balloons and a cake ready when we arrived for one of our friends Birthday. Very thoughtful!
